Isn’t she lovely?!?
She placed third in the Miss World pageant held yesterday 9/28/13. She is a fourth year medical student. Can you say BEAUTY & BRAINS ?! Yess!
Below is some information about her that I obtained from the Miss World website:
Carranzar was born in the suburbs of Accra and has lived in the capital all her life. She is a BSC Medical Student with ambitions of qualifying as a paediatrician in the future. Describing herself as “down to earth with a vivacious personality and a passion to help the under privileged”, she partakes in quarterly outreach programs bringing medical care to rural areas of Ghana. In her spare time she enjoys reading, sightseeing, and travelling, and her favourite book is Think Big by Ben Carson.
In Her Own Words…
Carranzar Naa Okailey Shooter is my name.
I am a 22 year old fourth year medical student.
Representing my country Ghana, is a humbling experience and I look forward to interacting with the other amazing women from all over the world in this competition.
I believe the definition of beauty has evolved and the essence is being able to impact lives. I’m glad to be a part of this organization that truly embodies beauty with a purpose and seeks to improve the lives of the less fortunate especially children.
I love reading, cooking and sightseeing.
